Data Visualisation & Storytelling in the Age of AI
Turn data into decisions. Learn how to communicate insights in the AI era.
This intensive two-week summer school provides students with the skills and confidence to transform complex data into clear, compelling visual stories that inform, persuade, and drive decision-making. The programme blends data literacy, visual design principles, storytelling frameworks, and artificial intelligence to help participants move beyond basic charts and dashboards. Students will learn how to design effective data visualisations, craft meaningful mnarratives, and responsibly leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and storytelling. Through practical exercises and real-world datasets from retail, healthcare, and financial services, participants will progressively build towards an individual capstone project using a comprehensive coffee shop case study. No advanced technical background is required. The course is tool-agnostic and focuses on transferable thinking and design skills rather than software-specific instruction.

WHO CAN APPLY?
European Summer School is available for both students and young professionals.
Requirements:
- A minimum age of 18 years (average age is 23)
- Intermediate level of English (B1/B2) required
- Own laptop/tablet is needed for the majority of courses
WHAT IS THE PRICE?
The cost of the two week course is 950€(with an Early bird fee starting at 900€) and the fee is including:
- Course and study materials
- Application fee
- Weekly activities (except for entrance fees and weekend trips)
From 30th of April 2026 there will be a late enrollment fee charged = 100EUR.
Other expenses, such as meals, accommodation, insurance are not included in the price.
WHEN IS IT?
European Summer School takes place ON-CAMPUS in:
- TERM 1: 20/7 – 31/7 2026
- TERM 2: 3/8 – 14/8 2026
Courses take place each day from Monday to Friday between 9:00-14:00.
WHERE IS IT?
European Summer School takes place in Prague, both modern and historical capital of the Czech Republic.
Prague is one of the five most visited cities in Europe, and its location in the very center of Europe makes travels to other popular destinations such as Vienna, Berlin or Budapest more than simple.

WHERE TO STAY?
For our students, we offer a convenient accommodation in the newly reconstructed Botic Student House. It offers cozy and modern double rooms for cheap prices, starting on 21€ per person per night.
Journey from the accommodation to city centre and the course venue takes approximately 20 minutes.
IS IT INTERNATIONAL?
Yes it is! The 2025 summer school was attended by students from 35 countries. The main language of the courses and social activities is English.
