I really liked it. The teacher was really good at his job, he could help you no matter what you were trying to illustrate with whatever technique. For me, as someone with absolutely no art experience whatsoever, it was unclear what exactly illustration practice entailed. I had the idea beforehand that it would be more of a drawing course. Nevertheless the course was really valuable: it got me going. The most import thing I learned is probably that you shouldn’t be afraid and just do and try, it will come to you eventually. The course was really helpful. The activities were really nice.

There is one word that describes ESS , GREAT! ESS is an exceptional school and the staff work perfectly together. The social activities are great, the cultural trips, to field trips and classes AMAZING! I will recommend to anyone to participate.

Have you always wanted to study abroad, but couldn't find the time nor resources for it? Then I think ESS is the perfect solution! In this two week program, I learned so much about myself, life, and Praha. Due to the well-structured program and communication with the activity leaders, you will have the feeling that you are on a holiday with friends whilst also being educated in things you are actually interested in. It was especially nice that you could take some time for yourself if you feel like it, although there is the possibility to participate the everyday activities. This overall experience has gotten a special place in my heart and I surely would recommend everyone (no matter what age or background) to attend such a summer course. Embrace life, educate yourself, and have an open mind!

You apply for a course, in my case Online Marketing, and you get a lifetime experience. It´s not only the knowledge you gain, it´s the people your meet and the friends you make, the ambitious teachers and caring organizing team you get to know, it´s the spirit of an international summer school that makes these two weeks truly amazing.

Working on a project with students from other countries was a great learning experience in terms of understanding the differences and similarities between the cultures and perspectives that are observed in different parts of the world. I came to the design thinking course to learn and get an overview of this approach, it helped me a lot to figure out the design process. Now i feel more confident with the methodology. The materials shared were really valuable and the course was taught in the best possible way. I really enjoyed it and I higly appreciated the activities that ESS was proposing everyday. You can discover and enjoy the city, you'll live in an international context and you'll make for sure new good friends. At the end of the courses there's a cerimony where everyone can shows the output and also get a certificate. I was in team with a Portugeuse engineer and a Japanese master student, we worked on a project for a pharmacy of Prague. I'm happy to remember the time we spent on it and all the great moments I shared with the participants of the summer school. Thank you ESS! It was definitely an amazing experience.

I was enrolled in the personal and professional development course - it consists of many practical elements which helps you bond with your fellow classmates and apply the knowledge you have gained. I particularly enjoyed the focus on public speaking. The accommodation suited our needs and the activity coordinators gave us the experience of a lifetime in Prague (thank you team ESS!).
