Bio

Giulio Caldarelli was a business and finance teacher before entering Academia. As a researcher at the University of Verona (Italy), he is investigating the role of oracles in real-world blockchains. Given the rise of fintech and decentralized finance, he is particularly focusing his research on those domains.

Personal message: “Not all that glitters is gold, but it is worth investigating! The fintech and crypto domains are infested with risks, scams, and Ponzi schemes. Despite those issues, their importance and role in global finance are undeniably increasing. Hard to learn alone, those subjects prove to be easier, funny and exciting if studied with other people with heterogeneous background!”.
